Canning

My husband and I have thought about canning our own fruits and vegetables for a while now. We feel that it will be something we can do as a family, and a great learning tool for our children. This year we hope to plant a small garden, and want to preserve as much food from it as possible. Canning has always seemed so intimidating and time consuming, after reading this book I no longer feel that way at all. The instructions are very simple,  and the illustrations are beautiful. This book is inspiring and appealing to a younger generation. She modernizes the techniques of canning. I purchased the book on amazon for $20.00 including taxes and shipping.
