Apples are now in season and they are popping up in grocery stores everywhere. Apples are my favorite fruit to bake with in the fall, and my favorite kind are granny smith. I love how tart and sweet they are. I was looking at recipes from the pioneer woman the other day, and stumbled upon this easy apple tart. I love Ree Drummond! Anyways, back to the apple tart. This recipe was super simple and so yummy. I sprinkled a little cinnamon over the top of mine, along with the powdered sugar. I cut a slice off and drizzled it with a little caramel for Allen. The girls and I devoured the rest. It is that good, and a perfect way to use apples. I will be making it again.
