Grilled Vanilla Pound Cake + Fresh Strawberries


Summer in our house is all about the grill . Who wants to turn on the oven to make it even more warm than it already is? Not us! Sunday we had our usual dinner and I wanted a dessert that was quick, delicious, and simple. So I grilled a few slices of vanilla pound cake I bought, and then topped the pieces with fresh strawberries and homemade whipped cream. It was a piece of summer in your mouth. I just preheated our gas grill and then turned it to medium-high heat, then layed each piece on the grill cooking it for 2 or 3 minutes per side until you have visible grill marks. Then top with whatever you would like. Super easy!
